Holy crap, this is like my third journal entry this week, if you count those other two things as journal entries. I certainly don't.

As I mentioned before, I have a job now, which is sweet, because I'm finally able to squirrel away a nice bit of cash. It's just a cashiering job at Wegmans, but I make more than I did when I briefly worked at Michaels. Have I even posted here since I worked at that job? I don't think I have.

What else is new..

Well, this isn't new at all, but I graduated from college last December. There isn't much you can do around here with a Japanese degree, though, which is why I'm still working part-time until I can find a real job. I'm looking into ALT positions in Japan, actually, because I'm not sure what else I'm even slightly qualified to do with my very limited work history. On the plus side, I also passed level 2 of the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) last December, still not really sure how that happened.

I haven't really had much of an opportunity to practice since I graduated though, so hopefully I haven't already forgotten everything. I probably should start making time to use Mixi again, though that doesn't really help with the speaking aspect. x_X;


Also, on a far more awesome note, I'm going to Mexico this month! Only for a week, but I'm super excited. It's a shame I've completely forgotten how to speak Spanish. I haven't even really tried since about 10th grade though, and that's the better part of a decade ago. Ugh, I'm old. D:

And yet, like every day I get people who come through my line at Wegmans and accuse me of either skipping school or being a highschool dropout. To be honest, I'm not really sure what they're getting at, but alright.

I think this journal entry is sufficiently long enough now. Time for cake!
